We are pleased to announce that we have hired two new employees: Brian DeBisschop and Nico Grinold
Brian has a BS in civil engineering and an MS in structural engineering, mechanics, and materials from the University of California, Berkeley. Coursework included steel and reinforced concrete design, seismic design, dynamics, and nonlinear structural analysis. He has also performed research on the environmental impacts of seismic retrofit strategies. He is currently in the process of obtaining an EIT certificate.
Nico just completed his second year at the University of Michigan working on his BS in mechanical engineering. We are grateful to the Port of Oakland for giving Nico this opportunity and for referring him to us. He grew up in the Bay Area in Orinda. His college coursework included thermodynamics, engineering design and manufacturing, statistics, dynamics, circuits, multivariable calculus, differential equations, space instrumentation, and entrepreneurial 3D printing and modeling. Nico is working at Liftech as a summer intern.
We are very happy Brian and Nico are part of the Liftech team and look forward to working with them.
